The theme for the the 2023/24 school year is Sciences all around us. We have been studying building character and discipline. One tool we are using is Stephen Covey's work, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.  So far, we have looked at the first three habits and have created Mission Statements.

Other news in our room is our classroom management. We have a chart where we strive to stay at Awesome and Super.

When there the classroom earns EDA. Ask your student about that one. 

We also earn and receive class compliments for positive behaviors. When our compliments reach the floor we celebrate.

 

Students also earn coupons for positive behavior for a variety of positive incentives. Things like extra recess time, lunch with the teacher, help in another classroom, etc are a few.
